| Admission and exhaust channels |
These are channels located in the cylinder head that serve to communicate the manifolds with the combustion chamber. They are channels made when casting and the combustion chambers ends are machined to make way for the valve seats.

| Admission manifold |
Channel whose mission is to push the admission gases from the carburettor or from the injection to the entrance of the cylinder head and then passing through the valves to the cylinders. It is manufactured out of aluminum alloys and even plastic.

| |
| Admission ports |
Channels inside the cylinder head that communicate the intake manifold with the admission valves. The mixture that will burn in the cylinders circulate inside these channels.
