Engine whose generation of movement is rotational. Its operation is based on the turning of a rotor with three slightly convex but equal sides. The rotor is housed inside a special case with three different chambers and rotates by means of an eccentric system. Inside the the rotor compartment there are four cycles and this brings a constant propulsion. It has difficulties to receive a correct lubrication and at the same time guarantee a hermetic seal. Mazda applies this system on their standard vehicles.
