Minimum temperature at which an oil keeps its fluid properties. To improve the cold starting. this point should be the lowest possible. This test is carried out according to the norm ASTM-D-97.

| Frequency |
|
Frequency is measured in Hertzs and it is equal to the number of times that the situation is repeated in a second. The higher the frequency the greater the number of times it is repeated in a second andthe lower the available time to carry out a cycle. Rpm is a measure of frequency where the base is one minute. instead of a second.

| Friction |
|
Forces that arise between surfaces with relative movement between them. It transforms part of the energy that the engine develops into heat. It brakes the displacement of the pieces in the engine when rotating. but lets the power be transmitted to the ground. to take curves and to brake the vehicle.
