| Oil colour |
|
The colour of the oil varies bearing in mind the base oil and the additives that it contains. The scale described in the norm ASTM-D-1500 is used. granting clear oils the low numbers (0.5 onwards) and dark oils the high numbers.

| Oil filter |
|
A piece placed in the lubrication circuit. It serves to pick up the sludges that are in suspension in the oil. such as metallic and abrasive particles. They are manufactured with paper based on cellulose. cotton and synthetic materials. It is recommenfed to change the filter every time that the oil is changed.

| Oil life algorithm |
|
This serves to calculate the state of the oil for its use (accelerations. cold starting...).
