A hollow cylinder with another smaller cylinder inside separated by an O ring or rubber grommet that avoids leaks. It is usually used in joints between parts in the air conditioning. It is recommended to use new O rings every time that this is taken apart and reassembled.

Increase in the pressure of a turbocompressor for a short period. It is used to increase the engine power during sudden hard accelerations. It is achieved by acting on the valve that regulates the pressure in the admission of supercharged engines.
