| EGR Valve |
|
Exhaust Gases Recirculation System. This appeared in the United States in 1973 and its application was in the 80s. It uses a valve whose objective is to allow a certain part of the exhaust gases to be sucked towards the inside of the engine during the admission stroke. It generally goes mounted on the admission manifold. It has two functions: to reduce the polluting gases coming from the combustion of the fuel mixture that goes to the exhaust pipe and to lower the combustion temperatures inside the cylinders. The addition of exhaust gases to the mixture makes it more fluid and that combustion takes place at lower temperatures.

Oscillating axles These are types of drive shafts that are connected to the final differential conical gear by means of universal joints. They are rigidly linked to the wheels on the other end.

| Elastic Coupling |
|
This is a type of elastic rubber joint in the shape of a ring that is located between the differential and the half-shafts on some cars with independent suspension for the transmission of torque. In this way the movement of the suspension is compensated.
