| Self-directional Axle |
|
A system that is usually mounted on the back axle so as to get the wheels to modify their normal line in search of a more appropriate one for taking a curve. It is achieved by mounting the parts of the rear suspension on elastic supports that are deformed when entering a curve so modifying the kinematics of the suspension and its directionality.

This takes place when the ignition of a petrol engine is stopped but continues working. This phenomenon is due to the fact that hot points are generated on the head of the piston or in the cylinder head. together with a high compression ratio. causing the mixture to ignite. Diesel engines work using self-ignition.
