| Basic lubricant or basic oil |
|
This is the raw material used in the elaboration of a specific oil with additives and several chemical processes.

| Battery |

This is the accumulator of electric power. By means of a reversible chemical process. it contributes the energy necessary to start the engine. It also serves to aid the alternator when it is not capable of giving the current required by the electric consumption. The chemical process is carried out by combining the sulphate (contained in a solution of sulphuric acid and water) with the plates (made of lead and porous lead). The sulphate reacts (electrolyte) at the plates and generates electric current. The inverse process gives current to the battery. The voltage contributed by the battery depends on the number of sections (2 volts each one) and its capacity on the number and size of the plates. The capacity of a battery is expressed in amperes/hour (Ah) and refers to the quantity of current that it is capable of producing in one hour of service without being recharged.

| Battery anti-discharge protection |
|
This disconnects some electric components to save energy and to protect the charged battery after parking the vehicle. When the vehicle is parked during a long time the electronic controls go to the function " sleep " and maintain the charge in the battery.
