|
A system from BMW that achieves a regulation of the air that participates in combusi�n without the presence of a butterfly valve via a system of variable distribution. It controls the moment of valve opening and closing varying their height. In vehicles with this equipment the accelerator is not connected to any valve but to an electric motor that is responsible for deciding how far the admission valves will open. The saving that it can achieve in consumption varies between 6 and 16.
