Passive safety
Set of parts that reduce the consequences of an accident: airbag. seat belts. crumple zones.
 
PAX
Michelin has developed a system for tyres. called PAX. that can go at up to 200kph and at a top speed of 80kph with a puncture.
 
PDC
Park Distance Control. a system that helps the driver when parking. It uses proximity sensors that warn the driver via light or acoustic signals located on the bumper. When the obstacle gets near. the frequency of the sound/light is higher. BMW and Mercedes are some of those that use this system.
