| Phase Variator |
|
A system that allows the modification of the moment when the valves open changing the camshaft with respect to the position of the crankshaft. It consists of a mechanism placed between the operating shaft and the camshaft. The mechanism does not act at medium revs but at high revs. At that moment. it modifies by a few degrees the camshaft with respect to the drag sprocket and when the valves open. This system usually uses a mechanism that acts by controlling the oil pressure in the lubrication system.

Also known as electrophoresis. this is an electrochemical process that is applied to the chassis to protect it from corrosion and oxidation. The compound that is applied contains positively charged phosphorus and is subjected to a negative charge.
