| Differential |
|
Mechanical system that allows the compensation of the differences in rotation of two mobile wheels on one axle when a vehicle approaches a curve. This system is coupled to the gear on the differential that joins a box of satellite gears through a starter ring gear. The axle for the union of both wheels is interrupted with a set of bevelled gears to transmit to each drive wheel the necessary number of turns. When the vehicle circulates in-line a straight line all the wheels turn at the same rate and so the differential does not act.

| Differential blocking |
|
The system that disables the independent rotation of the half-shafts that come out of a differential is known in this way. Thanks to this action. in the event of a loss of tyre grip both half-shafts receive power from the engine.

This contains the gears and the toothed crown that changes the speed of the wheels.
